FOLIAGE: Dark green and leathery with serrated red flushed margins.
FLOWERS and FRUIT: White bell-like flowers tinged with pink appear in clusters during autumn and winter. Edible fruits ripen from green to yellow to red.
BARK: Red stringy bark that exposes the cream coloured bark underneath
GROWTH RATE: Slow
LANDSCAPE USES: Street tree, feature, hedge, screen
TOLERANCES: Prefers temperate climates in full to part sun and well drained soils but can tolerate all soils, cold climates and dry conditions
TREE CARE: Pruning not generally required
