DESCRIPTION: Upright, uniform branching structure with a good central leader. Dense foliage and colours early in autumn. Has strong crotch angles and limbs that withstand wind damage well. Excellent choice for street planting, both in urban and suburban settings.

FOLIAGE: Green with grey leaf underside during summer. Colours early in autumn becoming red followed by yellows. Colours reliable in most climates.
FLOWERS and FRUIT: Red flowers in spring, reported to be seedless

LANDSCAPE USES: Feature, shade
TOLERANCES: Adapts to a wide range of climatic and soil conditions but avoid overly wet sites. Tolerant of urban pollution. Will not tolerate excessively high winds, dry, or alkaline soils. Prefers full sun but will tolerate partly shaded positions.
TREE CARE: Pruning is generally not required, perform in summer if necessary
