FORM: Upright erect branches, with rounded canopy 

FOLIAGE: Grey leaves appearing white and “woolly”, maturing to silvery green. Yellow Autumn foliage.

 FLOWERS and FRUIT: Clusters of pretty single white flowers are borne in Spring, followed by small round greenish yellow fruit.

 BARK:

 GROWTH RATE: Fast

 DESCRIPTION: This attractive tree with erect branching grows to a height of 8 metres. The small round greenish yellow fruit is edible and often used for cider making. Fruit can be tart until fully ripe.

 LANDSCAPE USES: Excellent contrasting foliage. Ideal for medium gardens, avenue planting and street trees.

 TOLERANCES: Adaptable to most soil types. Tolerant of drought, pollution, frost and intermittent waterlogged conditions.

 TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilize when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
