DESCRIPTION: A hardy, stout trunked shrub or small tree with ovate, grey/green, leathery leaves and spectacular crimson-stamened pincushion or pom-pom type flowers.

FLOWERS and FRUIT: Red, almost bottlebrush like with many stamens

LANDSCAPE USES: 

TOLERANCES: Prefers a full sun position. Extremely tolerant of salty and windy conditions. Tolerant of most soils but prefers moist, well drained conditions. Not frost tolerant.

TREE CARE: Prune to shape
