DESCRIPTION: A unique native tree that can grow to 8.0m before it’s unique weeping habit becomes apparent.

FORM: Delicate and weeping
FOLIAGE: Grey green foliage is larger and spade shaped when young maturing to lance shaped grey green leaves.Â
FLOWERS and FRUIT: Pink or red flowers emerge from white powdery gumnuts in late winter and early spring. Gumnuts form into bell shaped fruit.
BARK: Young stems are red and ages to a smooth white. Peeling curls decorate the trunk.
GROWTH RATE:Â Fast
LANDSCAPE USES:Â Feature, gardens, street tree
TOLERANCES:Â Requires full sun and moderate drainage. Tolerates most soils and dry conditions.
TREE CARE: Shallow rooted, plant in a moderately wind free area or stake well. Water deeply throughout first summer. Fertilise in spring if required with a native friendly fertiliser.
