This is a cross between a Raspberry, blackberry and Loganberry.

FRUIT: This is a vigorous growing plant producing an abundance of purple to black berries on a thornless trailing vine. They are sweet when fully ripe, and could be a bit tart if picked too early.

DESCRIPTION: Used for fresh fruit, jams, cooking, pies, ice creams etc.  New canes produce next season’s fruit.

TOLERANCES: 

TREE CARE: Plant in a well drained sunny position with well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until vine is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears in Spring. Suitable to plant on a trellis or fence for support.
