FOLIAGE: Mid green leathery foliage becoming brilliant oranges, yellows and reds in autumn. Colours well in warmer climates

 FLOWERS and FRUIT: Inconspicuous white flowers in summer are followed by reddish blue berries.

 BARK: Dark grey becoming furrowed with age

 GROWTH RATE: Moderate

 DESCRIPTION: This lovely small, deciduous tree has a moderate growth rate and great autumn colour in shades of orange, yellow and red.

 LANDSCAPE USES: Shade, street tree, feature

 TOLERANCES: Tolerant of most soil types providing it is well drained and in a sunny position. Moderate drought, wind, frost, and coastal tolerance. Prefers warm temperate to cold climates.
