FORM: Rounded to pyramidial. Dense foliage.

FOLIAGE: Rich green summer foliage becomes buttery yellow in autumn. Consistent autumn colour.

 FLOWERS and FRUIT: Catkins appear in spring followed by a pendulous cone that sheds in autumn

 BARK: Mature bark exfoliates in large, creamy-white sheets. Underbark ages to salmon-brown and cinnamon.

 GROWTH RATE: Moderate to fast

 DESCRIPTION: Highly regarded selection of Betula nigra well suited for use as an amenity tree due to its exceptional environmental tolerances and ornamental qualities. Rich green summer foliage, attractive flaking bark and consistently good autumn colour add to the overall appeal this cultivar.

 TOLERANCES: Prefers a full sun position in cold to warm temperate climates. Requires good drainage. Good pest and disease resistance.

 TREE CARE: Build up the planting site if planting into clay soil. Prune in late summer to early autumn if required. Mulch well. Water deeply during dry periods.
